OEM Partners

Rapid7 is forming relationships with security companies who provide vulnerability management services to their clients and providing an OEM license to facilitate this relationship. The OEM license grants the purchaser a right to resell scanning services under the company's own brand. Through the use of the NeXpose API, full application scanning services may be provisioned through a partner designed portal.

The licensing of the OEM version of NeXpose is similar to the commercial license except the license is limited to a 3 or 4 year term. Pricing is calculated on a per-IP address basis with volume discounts, allowing pricing as low as $0.25 per IP per year. OEM customers may also license a Certification Server, which is used to create and manage certificates for licensed NeXpose installations.

Partners may also license their own branded appliance including custom artwork. Rapid7 will provide service and support for appliances and the core NeXpose engine through the standard support and update process.
