Rapid7 Recognized by Inc. Magazine as One of the Fastest Growing Companies in America for Third Year in a Row

Leading Security Risk Intelligence Company Boasts 3-Year Sales Growth of 307 Percent

Boston, MA. - August 24, 2011 - Rapid7, the leading provider of security risk intelligence solutions, today announced that it has been ranked as one of the fastest growing companies in America for the third consecutive year by Inc. Magazine on its annual Inc. 5000 list, an exclusive ranking of the nation's fastest-growing private companies. This year, Rapid7 ranked No. 997 overall with a 3-year sales growth of 307 percent, in addition to its recognition as the No. 20 ranking among security companies and No. 23 ranking in the annual listing of companies in the Boston Metro area.

Rapid7 recently reached its ninth consecutive record quarter in Q2 2011 with 74 percent overall growth in revenue over the same period in 2010, in addition to a 34 percent employee increase during the last quarter alone. Overall, from 2009-2010, the Company boasted 71.3 percent revenue growth. Also looking to continue its international expansion, the Company has accelerated activity with 35 new channel partners worldwide and the launch of a new local team in the UK.
